✨BIG NEWS! LaserPecker Design Space Beta (PC 3.0) is HERE!

Updated:

We are announcing the release of PC 3.0, LaserPecker Design Space Beta , synchronized with a new Firmware version, optimized specifically for the LX2 model.

We invite the community to participate in this Beta phase to validate these core technical improvements.

🚀 What's New about PC 3.0? (Quick Breakdown)

LDS 3.0 is built to deliver a smoother, faster, and more professional engraving experience:

1. Accelerated Rendering Performance

LDS PC 3.0 implements a new rendering engine for superior efficiency:

  • Speed: The engine can render one million geometric rectangles in 1.5 seconds, significantly reducing latency when manipulating complex graphics.
  • Efficiency: Memory usage is optimized to 350MB, minimizing PC resource consumption and ensuring stable performance when dealing with high-density files.

2. Enhanced Capacity for Large and Complex Projects

Previous software versions faced memory limits when processing large, intricate tasks (e.g., 500×300mm with high-density fill).

LDS PC 3.0 uses a multi-process architecture to resolve this constraint:

  • Stronger Capability: This architecture accesses and utilizes more system resources, providing stronger processing capacity to handle complex tasks and reliably support larger engraving areas.

3. Re-engineered Text Rendering

We have fundamentally rebuilt the text rendering system to eliminate previous issues stemming from browser engine limitations (which caused inaccurate text wrapping and scaling).

  • Stability: By implementing vector font technology, text is rendered accurately as vector paths, ensuring reliable text layout and visual consistency between the design screen and the final engraving output.

Product Roadmap: Future Integration

Our PC 3.0 architecture is the future unified platform, built based on user feedback from our current LDS 2.x system. It is currently optimized for the LX2 model. As the platform matures and stabilizes, we will gradually roll it out across the entire LaserPecker series in 2026.
