I bought the Laserpecker for my wife for Christmas and she loves it. To be honest, I have used it more that she has lol. It is so easy to use, just down load the app, plug it in and start engraving. We have been able to personalize gifts for family and friend and have even used the Laserpecker to personalize my wooden gun stock (which looks amazing). I highly recommend the Laserpecker. It is so much fun!

Everything has been really easy to use with Laserpecker, I was surprised how easy it is to plug in and just print a design using the app. It connected so easily to Bluetooth and I was also surprised how quickly it works. It only takes a few minutes to etch a small design on wood. The app allows you to add text to an image easily. The preview mode is really helpful for lining up the design. I didn't realize why it needed the ruler that was included at first but now I find that it was a really helpful detail to have that exact size ruler with the package to line up the laser to the correct height.

I really did not expect this tiny little device to be this good. And this is coming from someone who owns practically every similar kind of DIY maker including half a dozen 3D printers, a CNC router and vinyl cutter. The only thing missing was a laser engraver. I considered buying one of the many table-top laser engravers based on the 3018 build model but wasn’t impressed with them given their limitations.Fast forward to about a month ago when I started seeing ads on social media for the LaserPecker L1 and L1 Pro… a small laser engraver the size of the top of a spray paint can. After watching a few videos, I bought one since it looked like it would be a nice addition to my business. And I wasn’t wrong! This tiny gadget is powerful, versatile, and easy to use. So let me break it all down:PRICEAt $300, it seems a little pricy when you compare it to the alternatives out there. You could buy one of the many other no-name laser engravers on the market for a fraction of the price. However, you have to put them together, calibrate them, download and learn 3rd party software, and the list goes on. For someone looking for a laser engraver that works right out of the box without the headaches, the LaserPecker line-up will better suit you.EASE OF USEIs it easy to use? Oh, it certainly is! Right out of the box, I was testing it within 20 minutes. Plug it in, mount it to the included mini tripod, level it with included ruler, and start using their App on your phone to start engraving. It doesn’t have to be tethered to a computer. It connects via Bluetooth to any phone or tablet. It’s also completely quiet!SOFTWARELaserPecker uses their own App you can download to your phone or tablet. You do need to setup an account before using it, but that only takes a couple of minutes. The interface is clean and to the point. Choose the file you want to print, select the size (in millimeters), use Preview to align your material and then just click Start!PROTIPS- USE THE RULER: The optimum focal point is 200mm from the LaserPecker to the material you are engraving on. Too close or too far will give you some bad results.- HAVE PROPER VENTILATION: It’s a laser that burns what you are engraving. You really don’t want to be inhaling those fumes.- WEAR THE GOGGLES: When the engraving process starts, wear the goggles! Even the reflection from the laser can damage your eyes. This is not a toy! Also, I would suggest having a small fan blowing onto material when engraving. The smoke from the engraving process can mess with the laser’s precision and ruin the print/engrave. Otherwise, this tiny device is great! The fact that it’s so mobile is a major plus over other laser engravers. I will continue using my L1 and add to this review if anything changes.

Easy to use. Just align the material being engraved to the top part of the preview line when in preview mode that’s what helped me align my images.

With this price, the most noticable feature that I can get from this engraver is the high mobility. Unlike the other which I had, more like a station, I can bring this one on the go and use at my friends place.

I love this little engraver! I’ve been wanting to buy a glowforge and figured I’d start small to see how I like it. It’s easy to use and works well for what I’m using it for. Very user friendly and the app is great. Having fun making Christmas ornaments!

Had some issues receiving the verification code via email. Resolved by customer service the next day. I used email, website and Facebook messenger to contact them. Fastest response was on Facebook messenger. Laser is working well. Very happy with it. Have tried on leather and oranges. Video is of an etching I did that is part of a wallet I’m making for a Christian friend.

This laser is fairly easy to work with, and you can't beat it for the price. Also, the customer service was fantastic for us. Our first laser was somewhat faulty and broke after just a couple weeks. However, after contacting the company, they replaced or laser free of charge (and even upgraded it to their Pro version!). The replacement took a few weeks to arrive due to it coming from China, but overall I was very pleased with their customer service. And we've had no problems with the replacement for months now.

am new to cnc and laser engraving, so I was nervous about learning a new process. This machine made it pretty easy to get acquainted. It's easy to build, has all the right parts. The motor and laser work well.

Great for DIYs, by far the best thing about this printer is it’s simplicity, straight out of the box connect the laser to the tripod and plug it in. Download the app, no account needed and it goes straight to photo selection. Pick a photo and what kind of print you want, my personal favorite is the pencil. Then you can preview the perimeter and it will circle the laser around so u know your not burning your surface. Then select depth, material and power. Wait about 15min. The laser will cause smoke and it’s recommended you fan it, it smells pretty bad. The quality, simplicity and variety of uses makes this laser printer really worth it.

The compact laser etching machine can be carried with you, powered by a mobile power supply, and wireless Bluetooth controlled by a smart phone can directly import images, text, and paintings. I have tried to carve on wood, paper, and fruits.
